Dont wander too far off! my Scout Leader yelled. I couldnt help myself my boy scout group was crazy at times and never really got anything done. I was one of one of only Eagle scouts, besides my leader. I feel more at home in the woods. The sun glistened threw the trees creating an enchanting light. I sat down on a rock overlooking a meadow and just listened.
Every sound or sight I could see I took note of. Personally the idea of meditating on ones innermost thoughts while forgetting to even listen for my leaders call for me to come back to camp, but I was too far off to hear his shouts. As my mind often does it turned to the sled dogs, and my imagination took me to the comfort of dogsledding over the blizzard beaten trails. I ignored my senses which told me I was not on a sled in the middle of winter, but on a rock in the middle of summer.
